Do you provide parking?
Yes, we have secure underground parking for 100 cars on site. In addition, on-street parking is also available.
 
Can we arrive by bus to the venue?
Yes, buses and other hired transport may access The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast via Brightwater Boulevard and can drop guests right in front of The Pavilion for functions.
 
What accommodation is on offer nearby?
The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast is perfectly positioned with Mooloolaba just a 10-minute drive away and Brisbane a comfortable one-hour by car. From apartments to hotels, there is an abundant choice of excellent nearby accommodation options in Mooloolaba. Breeze on Brightwater offers 30 two and three-bedroom townhouses, just 100 metres from The Lakehouse. We own and operate a small boutique property www.motelcaloundra.com.au. You can book the whole venue. Please enquire directly on the website. Please ask us for a copy of our Suppliers We Love for recommendations on other nearby accommodation and local suppliers.
 
Can we supply our own alcohol and food or caterers?
We are a fully licensed venue and provide a generous amount of different menus for daytime or evening events. From a wedding brunch or a conference lunch to a seated dinner or cocktail soiree, we are happy to work with you to develop the perfect food and beverage package for your event.  Self-catering is not permitted.
 
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Our Chefs will cater for all dietary requirements with prior notice.
 
Do you cater for children?
Children are welcome at all events with adult supervision. We request that those looking after children refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages and suggest that children remain at functions with a curfew of 9pm. We offer special children’s menus and have high chairs available for use.  There is a change table located in the hotel opposite.
 
Do you cater for guests with disabilities?
The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast is all on one level. We provide a bathroom with disabled facilities and are happy to work with you to provide any additional facilities or services that may be required. The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast and adjacent Brightwater Hotel provide ramps from the car park to the venues.
 
How many guests does The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast cater for?
We cater for a maximum of 180 seated at round or rectangular tables or up to 200 for conferencing. We cater for up to 300 guests for a standing cocktail-style event. Minimum numbers do apply for use of the venue. If your numbers fall below this confirmed minimum number, you will be charged for the balance.
 
What is included if I book The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast as a conference venue?
All room set-up, AV including use of our 140 inch screen and projector with connectivity to your laptop, lectern and microphone for presentations.  Morning and afternoon tea, working lunch and non-alcoholic beverages and iced water are available as add-ons.  On-site dinner packages or dinner next door at our venue Brightwater Hotel can be added if required.
 
What wet weather options do you provide?
If you are using The Pavilion for a wedding ceremony or pre-event meeting space and it looks like it may rain, we will move your group indoors to the fully covered decks or indoor areas. Please ask to see these areas when you view the property.
 
Can you recommend professional event suppliers that can assist me with my event?
We work with many high-end suppliers whom we love to recommend. We will only recommend those suppliers that we know provide a level of service similar to our own. Please ask us for a copy of our Suppliers We Love list when you book your event.
 
What music is permitted at The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast?
We allow 2 live musicians or a DJ to provide music for your event. We do not permit brass instruments, drums or large bands. Please ask for a copy of our Music Agreement Form when booking your event.
 
Can I have fireworks at The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast?
Please make enquiries directly with Sunshine Coast Council in relation to the use of fireworks and advise us if you are proceeding with a booking.
 
How can the room be set up for my function?
We will provide table and seating plans for your event.  These are a guide only but do show maximum guest numbers. We are happy to work with you to create the perfect room set-up. We can provide both round or rectangular tables.
 
What time can our event finish?
We are licensed until 12 midnight, 7 days. Last drinks are offered at 11.30pm with all guests off-site by midnight.
